Sending a Text Message (Using BAY Number)


If you have purchased a Back At You Number, you will have access to the text messaging tool within ClientBAY.

How to Send A Text Using BAY Number
  1. Select the Messaging tab on your left hand side menu
  2. Select the BAY Phone Number tab along the top of the screen. This will take you to a dashboard where you can see the texts that you have received and sent out from your BAY Number.
  3. To start a new message, click on the +New Text Message button in the upper right hand corner.
  4. This will pop open a screen where you can type in the name or cell number of the contact that you wish to text.
  5. Type your message in the lower message box.
  6. Once you are ready to send the message, click on the up arrow on the  bottom right hand side of the screen. 
  7. BONUS: You also have the ability to text message your contacts directly from their Contacts Details page in your CRM

When the contact that you are texting receives the text message, it will appear as if it has come from you.
They will have the ability to text you back. When they do so, you will get a notification alert within your ClientBAY system that will let you know that they have replied. You will also be able to see that reply within the Text Messaging Dashboard.
