How do I set up a stand alone house value domain?

Step 1: Access the Domain Section

  1. Log in to your ClientBAY account.

  2. Navigate to the Admin tab on the left-hand sidebar.

  3. Select Domain from the dropdown menu. 

Step 2: Create and Configure the Site

  1. Start New: Click the + New button.

  2. Select Type: Choose Back At You Sites House Value Website from the options.

  3. Associate the User: Set the associate to the Company Name user (e.g., Coldwell Banker My Company). 

  4. Enter Details:

    • Domain Name: Type in the URL you intend to use.

    • Site Name: Enter a title (this appears in the browser tab, e.g., "What is your Home Worth?").

    • City: Set the primary city for this valuation tool. 

  5. Design Settings: 

    • Leave the Template Name as 'Blank Template'.

    • Set the Template ID to Blue.

  6. Finalize: Click Save.

Step 3: Pointing Your Domain

To make the site live, you need to ensure the web address points to the correct location.

  • Custom Domains: If you purchased a unique domain (e.g., www.yourlocalhomevalues.com), you must update your DNS settings to point to our servers. 

  • Subdomains: If you prefer a subdomain, simply format it as yourchoice.thecompanydomain.com in the domain name field. This is often the quickest way to get started! 

💡 Important Note: If you are pointing a custom domain, it may take 24–48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate across the internet before the site becomes visible.
