ADMIN: Creating an RSS Feed Widget for Your ClientBAY Home Dashboard

🌐 Admin Guide: Creating and Managing a Global RSS Feed Widget

As a ClientBAY Admin, you have the ability to create and deploy a custom RSS Feed Widget that will display key external information (e.g., industry news, company announcements) directly on all users' ClientBAY Home Dashboards.

🗂️ Accessing Custom Widgets Dashboard

  1. Click the Settings icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the application interface.

  2. Under the Dashboard section, select Custom Widgets.

    • This page serves as your central hub for managing all custom-created dashboard elements.


➕Creating a New RSS Feed Widget

  1.  Click the +Create RSS Feed Widget button, which is situated in the upper right-hand corner of the Custom Widgets screen.

  2. A slide-out panel will appear on the right. Complete the following mandatory fields:

    • Title: A concise, descriptive name for the widget (e.g., "Industry News" or "Company Blog").

    • Description: A brief summary of the widget's content.

    • URL: The complete URL of the external RSS feed you wish to display.

  3. Set Global Display (Crucial Step):

    • If you select the Automatically Add To All Users' Dashboard checkbox, the RSS Feed Widget will appear on every user's Home Dashboard immediately.

    • Note: When this box is checked, users will not have the option to remove the widget, ensuring the content is always visible.

  4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the panel when finished.

Your newly created RSS Feed Widget will now automatically be visible on all users' ClientBAY Home Dashboards.


💾 Managing (Editing or Deleting) Existing Widgets

If you need to make changes to an existing RSS Feed Widget:

  1. Locate the specific widget on the Custom Widgets screen.

  2. Click the three-dot action button associated with that widget.

  3. Select the appropriate action from the drop-down menu (Edit or Delete).
