ADMIN: Creating Customized Lead Sources

ADMIN: Creating Customized Lead Sources

One of the most powerful features of ClientBAY is the ability to create, customize, and deploy lead sources directly to your brokerage website. By controlling the lead form, you ensure that the right data is captured and routed to the right team members instantly!

🛠️ Phase 1: Creating Custom Lead Sources

Before you can display a form, you must define the lead source and its routing logic.

  1. Access Settings: Select the Settings icon ⚙️ in the upper right-hand corner of ClientBAY.

  2. Navigate to Sources: Under the Leads section, select Sources. This opens your Lead Source Dashboard.

  3. Create New: Click the + New Source icon ➕ in the upper right-hand corner.

  4. Configure Routing: Fill out the lead routing rules you want this source to follow.

Tip: Routing rules determine which agents or groups receive the lead automatically.

  5. Finalize: Once rules are established, click Save 💾 in the upper right-hand corner.

Your new source will now appear on your dashboard! You can use the three-dot action button to edit, duplicate, or delete sources at any time.

🎨 Phase 2: Customizing the Lead Form

The Lead Form is what your potential clients see. Customizing fields ensures you collect the exact information your brokerage needs.

  • Edit Layout: From the Lead Source Dashboard, click the three-dot action button next to your source and select Edit.

  • Access Fields: Select the Field Layout tab at the top of the screen.

  • Modify Fields:

    • Edit: Click the pencil icon ✏️ to change display text or toggle "Required" status.

    • Reorder: Use the up/down arrows ↕️ to move fields into your preferred sequence.

    • Add New: Click the + icon ➕ to create a custom field. Follow the prompts, then click Next and Confirm.

🌐 Phase 3: Adding Forms to Your Website

Once your form is ready, it’s time to go live! Follow these steps to add it to your brokerage site.

🔐 Step 1: Enter Editing Mode

Scroll to the bottom of your brokerage website and select SitesBAY Login. Enter your admin credentials. You’ll know you’re ready when a black administration bar  appears at the top of the screen.

📍 Step 2: Choose Your Placement

You can place your lead form in three different areas:

  • Option A: The Site Menu Select Menu from the black bar, then Edit for your Site Menu. Add the new form by selecting it from the Lead Source dropdown list. You can make this a main top-level menu item or a nested submenu. Remember to press Save!

  • Option B: Website Panels Select the specific panel where you want the form. Change the photo and text as needed, then click the blue Select Link button. In the window that pops up, go to the Lead Sources dropdown and pick your source. Hit Save.

  • Option C: Custom Pages Select Pages from the editing bar. Create a new page or edit an existing one. In any text area, click the Lead Sources box in the editing toolbar. This allows you to auto-embed the form directly into the body of the page.
