Setting Your Listing Competition
In each listing, you have the ability to set listing competition criteria. In essence, what other properties on the market is your listing in direct competition for buyers with.
Setting the competition for your listings is beneficial for both you and your sellers and will be featured in any seller reports you create, will be displayed on the seller portal and will also power the "Nearby Listings" section on your agent website.
To set the competition for a listing:
- Select Listings from your left hand side navigation bar and then select Listings again. This will open up your Listings Dashboard.
- Select the Listing from the Listings Dashboard that you want to set the competition for. This will open up the Listings Details page.
- Select the Competition tab from the top of the screen.
- Set the Competitive Market Listings Criteria. You can get as detailed as you need to on this screen.
- When you are done, press the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
If you have any seller reports set up for this listing, this competition will carry over to those reports if you left that report feature on.
If you have created a seller portal account for the seller of this listing, the competition set will also be displayed on that portal account.
