The BAY Virtual Phone Number allows you to send and receive professional texts directly through your ClientBAY account. This keeps your personal number private while ensuring you stay connected with your clients.


Note: This feature is purchased at the brokerage level. If you do not see the setup options described below, please contact your office administrator.
👤 Access Your Profile: Click on your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner
of your ClientBAY dashboard.
🛒 Open the Marketplace: From the menu that slides out on the right, click Marketplace.
⚙️ Start Setup: Look for the Set Up Phone Number button and click it.
🔍 Choose Your Number: Type your desired area code into the search bar. Select the number you like best and click Next.
📝 Complete Registration: Fill out the required information form and click Finish & Submit.
✅ Confirmation: A pop-up will appear stating "Virtual Phone Number Registration Sent." Your number is now in the approval phase.
💡 Important Note: The approval process is handled by external carriers and can take up to 3 weeks to complete.
Once you submit your application, you will recieve an email update based on your virtual phone number status and any changes to that status. You can also log into Marketplace at anytime to check the status. The below is an explanation of the Statuses:
Under Review: Your number will show a status of "Under Review" until it is approved.
Active: Once your virtual phone number is approved and ready to use the status will show "Active".
Action Required: If there is an issue with your registration you will see "Action Required", click "Review Submitted Info" to be make the necessary fixes.
If you no longer need your virtual phone number, you can cancel the service at any time:
👤 Click your profile photo in the top right corner.
🛒 Select Marketplace from the side menu.
💬 Find your Virtual Phone Number section and click the three-dot action button (⋮).
❌ Select Cancel Service.
⚠️ A confirmation box will appear. Click Yes, Cancel to finalize the change.
Opt-In Requirements: To follow industry standards (A2P 10DLC), your leads and contacts
