Sharing contacts is a powerful collaboration tool, especially for teams and partnerships. By setting up a "Share," you can give colleagues the ability to view and manage your database according to the permissions you set. 👥✨
Access CRM: Click on Contacts on the left-hand side of your screen to open your CRM Dashboard.
Open Sharing Settings: Click the Sharing tab along the top of the dashboard to open your Sharing Dashboard.
Select Recipients: Click the Select Users button in the upper right-hand corner. A window will pop up with two options:
If you select this, every agent in the brokerage will be able to see your contacts.
Use the checkboxes to decide if all agents are allowed to Create contacts for you or Delete your contacts.
Select Share to finalize.
A list of agents from your roster will appear. Select the specific person you want to share with.
Just like the "Everyone" option, you must specify if they have permission to Create or Delete contacts in your account.
Select Share to finalize.
Once a share is active, it will appear on your Sharing Dashboard. You can manage them at any time:
Edit Permissions: Click the pencil icon ✏️ next to a share to change create/delete permissions.
Remove a Share: Click the trash icon 🗑️ to stop sharing your contacts with that user. You will be asked to verify this action.
