Access Groups - NEW Settings for Transactions

Access Groups - NEW Settings for Transactions

New Settings for Transactions in your Access Groups

You all asked and we are delivering!  Many of you have asked for finer control over what can be seen within Transactions as well as what administrative functions your staff has access to. The new functionality will enable you to tailor your access group and determine exactly what you want the people assigned to that group to be allowed to do and see.

That being said, the new functionality will no longer respect Access Levels.  The new functionality will allow anyone, regardless of User Level to do or see whatever you have allowed them to in the Access Group they are assigned to.

In preparation for the new functionality to go live on JULY 23, 2024 we have added new fields to your Access Groups in the section labeled Transactions. It is imperative that you set these fields for each access group before that time so that when we enable the new fields you won't have people who are seeing things they aren't supposed to or people who can't see what the need to.

  1. Go to Reports -> Agents -> Access Groups
  2. Run the Access Group Report
  3. Clean up anyone who is not in the correct Access Group by changing their Access Group or creating a new one if needed
  4. Once all of your Access Groups are good, go to Settings -> Access Groups and make your selections for each Access Group
*Remember that anyone assigned to the Access Group will have the ability to see, do or create whatever you allow within that group.

If you need assistance with your new settings, here is a link to Jennifer's calendar. You are welcome to schedule some time.
