Troubleshooting Your Facebook Connection

If you are having trouble connecting your Facebook business page to our system or simply need to reset your permissions there could be a few reasons for that, but this process should fix any of those.

1. Visit Facebook.com and click on the arrow in the top right of the page and then click on the Settings and privacy option.

2. Now click on "Settings"

3. After you click on Settings, in the bottom left you should see Business Integrations.


3. In the business integrations section you can click on the Checkbox next to Back At You and then click on the Remove option.
 The check box can be hard to see on certain monitors due to brightness levels. As long as you click in the general area to the right of the view and edit button it should check.
4. You'll get a pop up that asks if you are sure that you want to remove us, just click on the Remove button.

After you click on that last remove button you are done. The last thing to do is to try reconnecting yourself to our system.  You can do that by visiting the Social Media Center and following these instructions.

1. Log into the Social Media Center here: https://smc.backatyou.com/
2. Click on the Settings wheel in the top right
3. Click on "Content"
4. Click on the "Reconnect" option to the right of Facebook
5. Choose Connect to Facebook
5. Make sure you click on the Continue prompts, do not edit the permissions as they're all needed for us to see and access the business page.
6. After all the Facebook prompts, you should be able to select the page you wish to connect. Select it and click "Continue.
7. After this it may ask you to check your targeting options, you can do that if you wish or simply click on Continue.
