Starting your transactions in ClientBAY is an easy walk through that does require some basic information to be entered into the system. To start a transaction, you will need the address, commission information, and client name to start. Once you have those, you can easily begin your transactions.
To enter a transaction from the contact record you will need to first make sure the contact is in your Customer Relations section. Need to enter the contact into your account? Learn how to upload a contact here.
Click on Contacts/Leads -> My Contacts/Leads
Locate and select the contact you want to start a transaction for
Click the Transactions tab at the top of the contact record
Select if you are entering an active listing (LISTING), a pending buyer (BUYER), or a buyer offer (OFFER) transaction
Select the transaction type: Sale, Residential Lease or Commercial Lease
Use the search bar to search for the address or ML Number to auto-populate the property information. If the property isn’t in MLS, the information can be manually entered
Add the checklist to the transaction for paperwork tracking & select Save AND Continue
On the next screen, enter the commission per the contract agreement & select Save AND Continue
Verify the contact information. Add additional clients by using the +button in the right-hand corner of the buyer/seller segment. You can also add vendors on this screen so that all parties involved in the transaction are linked to the transaction
Do a final review of your entry & click Finish
You will now see the transaction under this tab! You can have multiple transactions for a client going and all will populate here.
To see all your transactions in one place you can go to Financial ->Transactions ->My Transactions.
