Tags (previously known as Contact Types) are a great way to keep your contacts and leads organized. You are easily able to create and add multiple Tags to a contact or lead and they come in useful when it comes to sending out eMarketing from the ClientBAY system.
To CREATE Tags to utilize for your contacts and leads, select the Contacts tab on the left side menu. This will take you to your CRM Dashboard.
Select the Manage Tags button in the upper right hand corner. This opens up a window where you will be able to see any Tags that you have created so far.
Select the +Create New option and input the new Tag and press the green checkmark.
This will populate your new Tag to your Tag list below.
If you want, you can even select different colors to associate with the tags you are creating.
To DELETE Tags, simply select the trash can associated with that Tag and verify that you want to delete the Tag.
To EDIT a Tag, select the pencil associated with that Tag, enter in the edit and Press OK.
To ADD a Tag to a Contact or Lead, select the Contact or Lead from your CRM Dashboard.
When the Contact or Lead's details load, scroll down and find the section in the lower left titled Tags.
Select the Add Tags button.
Select the Tags that you want to attach to the Contact or Lead and then Press Save
You will now see those Tags attached to the Contact or Lead.

You can attach multiple Tags to a Contact or Lead.
In the same area in which you added your Tags to a contact and lead is also where you can remove those Tags.
From the Tag widget, simply click the X on the Tag that you wish to remove from the Contact or Lead.
