Tags (previously known as Contact Types) are a great way to keep your contacts and leads organized.
To manage your master list of tags:
Go to the Contacts tab on the left menu to open your dashboard.
Select the Manage Tags button in the upper right-hand corner.
To Create: Select + Create New, type your tag name, and click the green checkmark. β
Tip: You can pick different π¨ colors to make your tags pop!
To Edit: Click the pencil βοΈ icon, make your changes, and press OK.
To Delete: Click the trash can ποΈ icon and confirm.
Once your tags are created, you can assign them to your clients:
Select a Contact or Lead from your CRM Dashboard.
Scroll down to the Tags section in the lower-left corner.
Click the Add Tags button.
Check the boxes for the tags (YES! You can attach multiple tags to a person) you want to attach and press Save.
If you aren't sure which tags to create first, here are the most effective categories used by top-performing agents to stay organized:
π₯ Active Pipeline: Use tags like Hot Prospect, Showing Stage, or Under Contract. This helps you see at a glance who needs a phone call today.
π± Lead Source: Use tags like Zillow Lead, Open House, or Referral. This makes it easy to see which marketing channels are working best for you.
π Client Type: Categories like First-Time Buyer, Investor, or Luxury allow you to send specific market data that actually interests them.
πΎ Personal Interests: Don't forget the "human" side! Tags like Dog Lover, Golf Enthusiast, or Wine Club are perfect for sending personal "thinking of you" notes.
π Nurture List: Keep your database healthy with tags for Holiday Cards, Past Client , and Local Sphere. This ensures you stay Top of Mind for future referrals!
