ADMIN: Lead Status Codes

🚦 Managing Lead Status Codes

Lead Status Codes are preset by the Admin to help agents organize their CRM.

These codes allow the team to track where a lead is in their journey (e.g., "New," "Showing Houses," or "Closed").

➕ How to Add a Status Code

  1. Select the Settings icon ⚙️ in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Select Contact & Lead Status Codes under the Contacts & Leads section. This will open your Status Code Dashboard.

  3. To create a new code, select the New icon ➕ in the upper right-hand corner.

  4. Define the Code: Fill in the name of the new Status Code.

  5. Attach Automation: Determine if you want a specific Action Plan  to automatically attach when this Status Code is selected.

  6. Press Save 💾. The code will now be available for your agents to utilize in their CRM.

✏️ How to Edit a Status Code

  1. Find the code on the dashboard and select the three-dot Action tab.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Once you have made your changes, select Save 💾.

🗑️ How to Delete a Status Code

  1. Find the code on the dashboard and select the three-dot Action tab.

  2. Select Delete.

🚩 NOTE: You cannot delete a status code if it is currently attached to a lead or contact. You must reassign those leads to a different status before the code can be removed.

💡 Pro Tip: Pair your Status Codes with Action Plans! For example, when an agent changes a status to "Closed," you can have the system automatically start a "Long-term Follow-up" Action Plan. This makes an agent's CRM even more automated for them. Click here to learn how to attach an action plan to a lead status code🚀
