ADMIN How to Forward an Agents Website to a Different URL

🔗 Forwarding to a Custom Agent Domain

When an agent purchases their own domain, follow these steps to ensure their ClientBAY website displays at that new address.

🛠️ Step 1: Update the Domain Settings

  1. Open Settings: Select the Settings icon ⚙️ in the upper right-hand corner of ClientBAY.

  2. Navigate to Domains: Select Domains under the Miscellaneous section to open your Domain Dashboard.

  3. Find the Site: Locate the agent's website on this page, or use the menu in the upper left corner to filter for a specific agent.

  4. Edit the Domain: Once found, click the three-dot action button ⋮ and select Edit. This opens the domain's details page.

  5. Change the Name: Find the Domain Name field and select the Change Domain Button to the right of it. 

  6. Enter New URL: 

    • In the pop-up window, enter the new domain name the agent purchased.

    • Forwarding (Optional): Select the Yes box if you want to forward the old domain (the ClientBAY subdomain) to the new one. 

  7. Confirm: Press OK. You will be taken back to the Domain Details Page.

  8. Save: Select the Save icon 💾 in the upper right-hand corner.

👤 Step 2: Update the Agent's Profile

After the domain is changed in the dashboard, you must ensure the agent's profile reflects the new address for marketing and branding purposes.

  1. Navigate to the Agent's Profile.

  2. Find the Website Address field.

  3. Update the field with the new domain name.
