ADMIN: Creating and Managing a Company Blog

✍️ Creating & Managing the Company Blog

As an Admin, you can curate a Company Blog that serves as a central hub for news and advice. These posts can be displayed on your main brokerage site and are also available for your agents to feature on their individual websites! 🌐

🏗️ Step 1: Setting Up a New Blog

Before you can write posts, you need to create the blog "container" and set its rules.

  1. Access Settings: Click the Settings icon ⚙️ in the upper right.

  2. Navigate to Blogs: Under the Marketing section, select Company-wide Blogs.

  3. Create: Select the + Create Company-wide Blog button. A slide-out menu will appear:

    • Blog Title: Name your blog (e.g., Market Insights or Brokerage News).

    • Admin Email: Enter the email of the person managing the blog. They will be notified of new posts and comments.

    • Comments: Check Allowed if you want to engage with readers. You can also set a time limit for how long comments stay open.

    • Rights: Grant permission to specific users who are authorized to write posts.

  4. Save: Click the blue Save button. Your blog is now active!

📝 Step 2: Adding Blog Entries (Posts)

Once your blog is established, you can start publishing content.

  1. Find Your Blog: On the Company Blog Dashboard, click the three-dot action button next to your blog and select Entries.

  2. Add Entry: Click the blue + Entry button ➕ in the bottom right corner.

  3. Draft Your Content:

    • Title & Subtitle: Create a catchy headline and a brief summary.

    • The Editor: Use the text box to write your post. You can use the toolbar to add tables, hyperlinks, and images.

    • Featured Image: Upload a main image that will appear at the top of the post to grab attention.

  4. Configure Publishing:

    • Status: Set to Active to publish.

    • Post Date: Select today’s date to post immediately, or a future date to schedule it!

    • Categories/Tags: Use these to help subscribers search for specific topics (e.g., #HomeBuying, #LocalEvents).

  5. Finalize: Press Save. 💾

🛠️ Step 3: Managing Your Content

From the Company Blog Dashboard, use the three-dot action button to:

  • Edit Blog Details: Change your global settings or admin email.

  • Manage Subscribers: See who is following your blog updates.

  • Manage Entries: Edit or delete specific posts you have already written.

💡 Pro-Tip for Admins

Encourage your agents to link to the Company Blog on their own sites! It provides them with professional, "ready-to-go" content and helps build the brokerage's authority in your local market. 🚀
