Community Pages


As Admin, you have the ability to create community pages to feature new builders and master plan communities. These are pages, that once they are built, you can display on your website to promote available communities in your area. This is a great tool to utilize to help people visiting your Company Website to learn more about the communities in your area.


Adding Builders to Attach to a Community Page

The first step to creating a Community Pages for your website is to have the builders that you would attach to a Community Page added in the system.

To add Builders to utilize, go to your Listings tab on your left side menu and select Communities. 

This will open up your Communities Page Dashboard where along the top you can select the Builder tab.

When on the Builder tab, select the + New Icon in the upper right hand corner to start adding builders.

This will open up a screen where you can start inputting the details of the Builder you are adding. 

You can add their name and give any Builder Description that you want. 

When you are done filling in the details, press the Save button.

This will add that Builder to your Builder list.

You can Edit or Delete any Builders on this Dashboard by utilizing the three dot Action button associated with that Builder.




Creating a Community Page

To create a Community Page, go to the Listings tab on your left hand side menu and then select Communities This will open your Communities Page Dashboard where you will see a running list of the Communities you have created.

To add a new Community, select the +New link in the upper right hand corner of the page. 

The page that opens is where you will enter in the details about the Community you are adding. 

NOTE: You are also able to add a Lead Source to this page to help capture potential leads from people visiting a Community Page. To Add a Lead Source, select the Green Plus button next to the Lead Source box and select the Lead Source that you would like available for the Lead to fill out.

To add a MLS Community to this Community Page, select the Green Plus button to pull up a list of your MLS Communities. Select the community or communities that you wish to add and select the Add button. 

You also have the ability to add individual agents who might be associated with the Community you are creating under the Agent List. Just select the Add Agent button and add the agents you wish to be represented on this Community Page.

You will also see areas where you can type in additional information about this Community.

Short Description: This is where you can enter in a description that will show up on the Main Community Page.

Community Description this will be the main description that populates on the landing page for the Community.

Contact Info: This should be the information for the Sales Office/ Team

Directions:  this should be the geographical instructions on how to locate the community.


Once you have completed the details that you wish to enter for this community, press the Save button. 

Once you have Saved this new Community, you will notice some additional tabs along the top of the screen have now populated.

You can now add a Logo to this Community Page, any Images that you want to appear on this community page, any models associated with this Communities page as well as a Site Plan, and the ability to make sure that the Community has mapped correctly.

You are also able to add any attachments to this page as well.

This community will now be Saved to your Community Dashboard.

You can Edit or Delete Communities by clicking the three dot Action button associated with that Community.




Creating a Community Landing Page

Once you have your Communities set up within the system, you can now create a Communities Landing Page for your website so visitors can easily access the Communities Pages that you have created.

To add a Community Landing Page, go to your Listings tab on the left hand side menu and select Communities. This opens up your Community Page Dashboard. 

Along the top of the screen, select the Communities Landing Page tab.

Here is where you can give the Community Landing Page a Headline and also put in any text that you want to appear on the Community Landing Page on your website. This text should be information about the area and encourage visitors to this web page to click through the community tiles that will automatically show on the live page.

You are also able to add any images to this page that you want to as well by utilizing the Images box on the right hand side of the screen.

Once you have this screen filled out, be sure to press the Save button. This will now be available to add to your company website.


Adding the Community Landing Page to your Company Website

To add your newly created Community Page to your Company Website, go to your Company Website, and login by scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting Sites Login.


To Add the Communities Page to a Menu

On the black edit bar along the top of the screen, select Menu.

Select the edit icon on the menu you want to add the Community Landing Page to. Your Home Page Menu is called sitemenu.

When the menu opens up, on the right hand side of the page, select the Back at You Pages option and then from the drop down menu, select Communities. This is the Community Landing Page.

Give the page a display name and then choose if you want the page to be a top menu item or if you want it to be a submenu item.

Then press Save.

This will add the Communities Landing Page to the selected menu.



To add the Communities Page to a Panel

When you are in editing mode on the Company Website, select the Grey Edit button associated with the panel that you want to add the Community Land Page to.

If there are no Grey Edit Buttons, make sure that you have selected the White Edit button in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Give the panel a Title, Description and Button Text. Then press the Select Link Button.

Select the Back at You Links option and select Communities from the drop down menu. 

Then press Ok.

Change the photo for the panel if desired.

Once you have the panel set up. Press the Ok button and then be sure to press Save in the upper right hand corner if you like how the panel looks.
