🏘️ Creating & Managing Community Pages

As an Admin, you can create beautiful Community Pages to feature new builders and master-planned developments. These pages act as a "hub" on your website where visitors can explore local neighborhoods, learn about builders, and connect with your team. 🏠✨

🔨 Step 1: Add Your Builders

Before building a community page, you must add the builders associated with them to the system.

  1. Navigate to Listings: On the left-hand menu, go to ListingsCommunities.

  2. Open the Builder Tab: At the top of the dashboard, select the Builder tab.

  3. Add New: Click the + New icon ➕ in the upper right.

  4. Enter Details: Input the Builder’s name and a description of their work.

  5. Save: Press Save 💾 to add them to your master list.

Tip: You can edit or delete builders anytime using the three-dot action button

🗺️ Step 2: Create the Community Page

Now, let’s build the actual page for the development.

  1. Start New Community: Under ListingsCommunities, click + New in the upper right.

  2. Capture Leads: 🎣 Click the Green Plus (+) next to the Lead Source box to attach a custom lead form to the page.

  3. Sync the MLS: Select the Green Plus (+) next to MLS Community to pull in active data from your MLS.

  4. Assign Agents: Click Add Agent to feature the specific experts associated with this community.

  5. Fill in the Details:

    • Short Description: A "hook" that shows up on the main gallery page.

    • Community Description: The full story and details for the landing page.

    • Contact Info & Directions: Essential details for the Sales Office and how to get there.

  6. Save & Enhance: Once you press Save, new tabs will appear at the top! You can now upload:

    • Logos & Images 📸

    • Model Homes & Site Plans 📐

    • Attachments (PDF floor plans, brochures, etc.)

🎨 Step 3: Design the Community Landing Page

The Landing Page is the "front door" that displays all your individual community tiles in one beautiful gallery.

  1. Go to Dashboard: Under ListingsCommunities, select the Communities Landing Page tab at the top.

  2. Add Branding: Create a Headline and intro text to welcome visitors.

  3. Visuals: Add high-quality images to the Images Box on the right.

  4. Save: This prepares the page to be linked to your live website.

🌐 Step 4: Add to Your Website

Finally, let’s make the page visible to the public! Log in to your website editor (scroll to the bottom and click Sites Login to login to editing mode).

Option A: Add to the Menu

  • Select Menu from the black admin bar.

  • Click the Edit icon for your menu (usually called sitemenu).

  • On the right, select Back At You Pages and choose Communities from the dropdown.

  • Name the link (e.g., "New Construction") and click Save.

Option B: Add to a Panel

  • Find the panel you want to use and click the Grey Edit button.

  • Enter your Title and Description, then click Select Link.

  • Under Back At You Links, choose Communities.

  • Update the photo if desired, click OK, and then hit the Save button  in the top right corner.
