ADMIN: Community Pages

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Creating & Managing Community Pages

As an Admin, you can create beautiful Community Pages to feature new builders and master-planned developments. These pages act as a "hub" on your website where visitors can explore local neighborhoods, learn about builders, and connect with your team. ๐Ÿ โœจ


๐Ÿ”จ Step 1: Add Your Builders

Before building a community page, you must add the builders associated with them to the system.

  1. Navigate to Listings: On the left-hand menu, go to Listings โž” Communities.

  2. Open the Builder Tab: At the top of the dashboard, select the Builder tab.

  3. Add New: Click the + New icon โž• in the upper right.

  4. Enter Details: Input the Builderโ€™s name and a description of their work.

  5. Save: Press Save ๐Ÿ’พ to add them to your master list.

    Tip: You can edit or delete builders anytime using the three-dot action button



๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Step 2: Create the Community Page

Now, letโ€™s build the actual page for the development.

  1. Start New Community: Under Listings โž” Communities, click + New in the upper right.

  2. Capture Leads: ๐ŸŽฃ Click the Green Plus (+) next to the Lead Source box to attach a custom lead form to the page.

  3. Sync the MLS: Select the Green Plus (+) next to MLS Community to pull in active data from your MLS.

  4. Assign Agents: Click Add Agent to feature the specific experts associated with this community. 

  5. Fill in the Details:

    • Short Description: A "hook" that shows up on the main gallery page.

    • Community Description: The full story and details for the landing page.

    • Contact Info & Directions: Essential details for the Sales Office and how to get there. 

  6. Save & Enhance: Once you press Save, new tabs will appear at the top! You can now upload:

    • Logos & Images ๐Ÿ“ธ

    • Model Homes & Site Plans ๐Ÿ“

    • Attachments (PDF floor plans, brochures, etc.) 



๐ŸŽจ Step 3: Design the Community Landing Page

The Landing Page is the "front door" that displays all your individual community tiles in one beautiful gallery.

  1. Go to Dashboard: Under Listings โž” Communities, select the Communities Landing Page tab at the top.

  2. Add Branding: Create a Headline and intro text to welcome visitors. 

  3. Visuals: Add high-quality images to the Images Box on the right.

  4. Save: This prepares the page to be linked to your live website.


๐ŸŒ Step 4: Add to Your Website

Finally, letโ€™s make the page visible to the public! Log in to your website editor (scroll to the bottom and click Sites Login to login to editing mode).

Option A: Add to the Menu 

  • Select Menu from the black admin bar.

  • Click the Edit icon for your menu (usually called sitemenu).

  • On the right, select Back At You Pages and choose Communities from the dropdown.

  • Name the link (e.g., "New Construction") and click Save.

Option B: Add to a Panel 

  • Find the panel you want to use and click the Grey Edit button.

  • Enter your Title and Description, then click Select Link.

  • Under Back At You Links, choose Communities.

  • Update the photo if desired, click OK, and then hit the Save button  in the top right corner.
